Insurance/Financial Information

Financial concerns are frequent when seeking medical care but should not become a barrier to receiving services. Often, medical insurance will cover some, but not all, medical costs. Co-payments, deductibles and other non-covered expenses are the responsibility of the patient at the time of service. Your personal check, Visa, Discover, or MasterCard are gladly accepted as forms of payment. Our Billing Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm to help you with insurance and financial issues. If your insurer requires pre-certification for hospital procedures or diagnostic tests, please notify our Billing Department prior to the procedure. Please bring your Medicare card, private insurance or PPO cards and any claim forms your employer may require. Should your insurance carrier withhold payment or partial payment of your claim for any reason, our Billing Department will gladly assist you in obtaining an explanation from them. Selma Medical Associates, Inc. participates with most regional insurers and PPOs.
