Our Echocardiography Laboratory is accredited through the ICAEL and our Nuclear Cardiology Laboratory is accredited through the ICANL. In keeping with our commitment to patient care, Selma Medical Associates, Inc. also has an X-Ray Department and an In-house CLIA Certified Laboratory which received the "COLA Laboratory Excellence Award" in 2005. Also, for over a decade, a JCAHO accredited infusion therapy department has been available here at Selma for outpatient management of illnesses requiring intravenous medication.
Today, Selma Medical Associates, Inc has all of its divisions and ancillary services under one roof thanks to an expansion that was completed in 2003 that more than doubled the space at our Winchester facility. This Winchester Star article from May 2002 describes the expansion. Although Selma is a relatively large group, we pride ourselves on delivering personalized service and continuity of care.
